Hostel life !!!!! 1st time Experience..

Hi guys!!!

As you can read from the title ,this post is going to be about my experience i had while i was in hostel for about one and a half month .Few of you might know i stayed in a hostel during my internship at VJTI college for Larsen & Toubro India Infotech (L & T) company.

Although technically speaking i wasn't staying at the hostel full time as i used to come home for weekends, however lets dig into my journey.

so initially i was quite nervousited (nervous+excited) to stay in the hostel thinking of how will be my roommates , sanitary conditions and availability of healthy food at the hostel, (btw i used to live in a girls hostel) and some other minor stuffs..

I was working under Artificial Intelligence domain in Robotics Field where our task was to make a robot that can go from source to destination in the shortest path available at the same time avoiding obstacles using image processing, i will not go further into details in the technical knowledge but it was fun to learn something you love...

I was lucky enough to find the best people to be my roommates, sanitary condition was much better than i had expected and the quality of the food was also good ,serving us both homely food and well as the tasty unhealthy food so i was quite happy with the hostel and along with that college has enough greenery and good surrounding that makes your heart happy.

So my schedule used to be-

• 7:30-8:30 wake up time

• 9:30-10:00 Breakfast time

• 10:00-6:00 Work/Study time +Lunch

• 7:30-8:00 Dinner time and later moving back to hostel

and rest of the day, i used to walk (as some sort of physical exercise) and spend either catching up with some project related stuff or enjoying with roomies.

This experience not only gave us technical knowledge but also helped us to experience working environment and industrial experience and i met some really good friends from all over India ( Top 40 students from all over India were selected for this Internship) . We all had quite a positive learning environment,which helped everyone maintaining growth.

We (students) all have a good amount of funny experiences and one of this is related to the finger scanning machine for attendance :)

We got a great opportunity to go to BARC and learn about the latest technologies being used there and its working, it was much more special because access to BARC is not allowed to common public until they have higher order permission.

I have made some unforgettable memories at the hostel including a heartfelt and deep discussion about life , current situation about our country ,society and about our dreams and not even realizing that we were talking for hours in the midnight , watching scary movies at night ( although we couldn't collect that much courage to see the entire film in the night so decided to watch in the morning....), getting ready every day and trying out new hairstyles ,i must have tried minimum of 12 different hairstyles , cracking jokes ,going to the nearby church and working out together and regretting it the next day due to body cramps .

I discovered few qualities in me that i had not explored about myself, knowing my strengths better ,belief and my principles .

I am truly grateful for getting a chance to be a part of this journey and this being a part of my life.
